My dear sisters on this month of Ramadan I am asking for your generous contributions towards an organisation that help revert sisters like me to learn Arabic and read the Quran.

I want to give you the opportunity to win so many good deeds with every penny you give.

I started this program last year, within 4 months I was able to read short sentences, perfect my pronunciation of Arabic letters and memorise correctly short surahs.

Now during this beautiful month of Ramadan I can pick up Quran and start reading from it.

So my dear sisters imagine winning hassanat for every letters a revert is able to read due to this beautiful program, soubanAllah.

WHO ARE WE?

R&R is a not-for-profit organisation that focuses on promoting living an Islamic Lifestyle.

WHY WE STARTED R&R?

Typically as a muslim community, we are very excited and happy for sisters to convert to Islam and for our beloved born-muslim sisters,  to return to the path of Islam. This good news is often met with hugs, smiles, gifts and jubilation. Unfortunately, this attention disappears  within hours, as our sisters return to their daily life & our revert or returning sisters are left alone to fend for themselves. R&R Aims to address 2 key points, 1. Community, 2. Educations

Community

When a sister takes her 1st steps on her journey to Allah, they are walking away from an old lifestyle, friends & social circles. As such, its imperative that we provide them opportunities to connect with find new friends & new communities. Without support, our sister have 2 options, stay alone or maintain their ties to their old lives and possibly resort back to their old lifestyle.

R&R works to fill this GAP, by providing a safe supportive, nurturing space for our sisters (& soon brothers) to develop, grow and transform their lives in line with the teachings of the Quran & Our beloved prophet Mohammed (Sallalaahu Alayhi Wa Salam). Regardless of background or location, R&R works to support our sisters to connect to with sisters on the same journey, give them classes on Aqeeda, Social forums to meet, build friends and learn from women of knowledge.

Education

When starting a journey to Allah, there begins a search for knowledge and self education. Unfortunately misinformation & misconceptions of Islam is rife & our sisters need sincere guidance through the labyrinth of websites and callers to 'variations' of Islam.

Our sisters who are not well versed in the deen, can fall for distorted versions of the Authentic message from Allah and his prophet Mohamed (Sallalaahu Alayhi Wa Salam). We aim to address this issue and educate our sisters on Islam, as taught by our beloved prophet (Sallalaahu Alayhi Wa Salam) as is clear in the Quran and as understood by the 1st generations of follow's and the General muslims. We aim to point them to those who teach in accordance to the Quran & authentic hadiths.

We also train knowledgable sister on how to connect, communicate & teach our non-arab sisters, providing languages classes for them to reach more sisters..

OUR CLASSES

We run a number of programmes to support our sisters in their transition to a practising Islamic Lifestyle,  Due to Covid, we have migrated our efforts online, provisioning 1-2-1 like, small structured Quran classes, lectures & social events. We also run a drop-in recitation programme, providing sisters the opportunity to recite with a qualified teacher. Our Quran/ Islamic services are FREE.

OUR TEACHERS

Dedicated, Qualified, Generous, Committed teachers primarily from Saudi & Egypt, who teach the Quran for the Sake of Allah. These amazing sisters provide a nurturing experience that is hard to match.

OUR STUDENTS

Sisters from all walks of life, countries, cultures and ages. Our Sisters are respectful representitives of the Ummah driven to learn about Islam, connect with likeminded sisters  & learn the words of Allah.

YOUR SUPPORT

We are inundated with applications from sisters who want to join our programmes.  Sadly, we simply cannot meet the needs of our sisters currently & fall short in providing the help they need.

Its a duty upon for us to help our sisters on their journey to Allah & We need your support to faciliate this for them. This campaign is aimed to cover the listed short term costs.  However, the reality is, this programme needs an investment.
