        IFTAR UNDER THE STARS

Come and join us for an evening of family fun, and entertainment! We will be hosting a wide range of Scouting activities, followed by Iftar (evening meal) and congregational prayers (Maghrib and Tarawih).

The event is open to everyone (with a complimentary invite to our refugee families).

Ramadan is a very important time in the Islamic calendar. During the month of Ramadan, Muslims do not eat or drink between dawn and sunset. This is called fasting. Ramadan is also the month of the Quran, a time for spiritual reflection, prayer, increaing good deeds, spending time with family and friends and making a special effort to connect with community.

At the end of the fast - when the sun sets  - usually, families and friends will get together for iftar to break their fast. 

our event will start from 17:00 and finish at 22:00.
