Salam Scouts are hosting their first ever Iftar Under the Stars!!!

Come and join our Salam Scouts family for an evening of fun, adventure and entertainment! We will be hosting a wide range of Scouting activities and a wonderful bazaar, followed by Iftar (evening meal) and congregational prayers (Maghrib and Tarawih), all to raise vital funds for our Scouts group.

The event is open to Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Ramadhan is a very important time in the Islamic calendar. During the month of Ramadhan, Muslims won't eat or drink between dawn and sunset. This is called fasting. Ramadhan is also a time for spiritual reflection, prayer, doing good deeds, spending time with family and friends and making a special effort to connect with communities. At the end of the fast - when the sun goes down - usually, families and friends will get together for iftar to break their fast. 

Please note that although congregational prayers will be held outdoors (weather permitting), these are optional however we do encourage everyone to stay back and be a part of the spiritual atmosphere. 

The event will start from 18:00 with a 23:00 finish.
