The inner meanings of hijab, the concept of modesty and the spirituality underlying both are topics rarely discussed and understood. This can lead to sisters failing to develop a love for the hijab and consequently having a possibly distorted understanding of it, failing to observe it properly or choosing not to wear it.

In recent times especially, the hijab is a topic oft talked about in various circles, whether it is an academic attack on the concept of hijab by orientalists or feminists or another famous influencer choosing to remove it under the banner of freedom of expression.

My Hijab will be an online panel discussion, to educate, instill love, empower and provide guidance/practical steps for those who wear the hijab, are considering or just want to understand it better.
